Basic uniform requirements
The following is a list of the absolute minimum items needed to portray a rifleman.

4. M1942 or M1924 First Aid Pouch (Required)
5. Carlisle First Aid kit
6. M1936 Pistol Belt
7. M1910 Canteen Cover (Required)
8. M1942 or M1910 Canteen (Required)
9. Canteen Cup (Required)
10. M1911 Pistol Holster (NCO only)
11. Pistol Magazines Pouch
12. M1 Carbine Magazines Pouch
13. TL-122 GI Flashlight
14. Utensils (Required)
15. M1942 or M1932 Mess Kit (Required)
16. M1 Bandoleer
17. M1910 Entrenching Tool OR 18. M1943 Entrenching Tool (Required)
19. Cardboard Sleeves for Bandoleer
20. M1 Garand Clip with crimped Blank rounds
21. M7 Bayonet for M1 Garand
M1936 Suspenders may be worn if haversack is not used.

THE UNIFORM
M-1937 WOOL TROUSER or M-1942 "Special" WOOL TROUSER (with GAS FLAPS)
(MUST BE MUSTARD KAHKI) - TROUSER BELT REQUIRED BLACK BUCKLE

M1937 WOOL SHIRT or M-1942 "Special" WOOL SHIRT (with GAS FLAPS)

FIELD JACKET, M1941 (M1943 acceptable for late war impressions only)

STEEL HELMET, M-1, WW2 COLOR, COMPLETE WITH LINER, chin strap &
leather strap.

Garrison Cap - blue piping

Jeep or 'Skull' cap

Leggings
REGULATION FOOTWEAR
Service Shoes OR Roughout Shoes-not pictured (Required)
Shoes are worn with M-1938 Leggins, Dismounted (Required)
Combat Boots (double buckles) acceptable for late war events

Secondary Gear
Musette Bag (Typically an officers kit, but some soldiers did carry them)
Sleeping Bag and cover
Wool Blanket
Pup Tent (MUST be WWII era, button type, with proper tent poles and stakes)
M3 Fighting Knife and scabbard
GI Sweater
Mackinaw Poncho
Bayonet and scabbard
